This Viewpoint supports SDG 3 and 10 by describing how, in the USA, unbefriended and undomiciled people are often ineligible to receive organ transplantation, and proposes measures for how such people's candidacy for transplantation could be optimised through expansion of Medicare/Medicaid coverage.
