This paper seeks to contribute to pipeline leakage detection research through collecting and simulating leakage signals under different pressure strengths by combining experiments with numerical simulation. The findings point towards better detection in a real noise environment. Such research is vital in the context of increasing worldwide demand for water and insufficient water supply caused by pipeline leakage.

This review investigates the emerging market for Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology, which is crucial for mitigating climate change by actively removing $\text{CO}_2$ from the atmosphere. By detailing the technologies used by over 50 DAC startups and identifying their potential customers, this work aims to accelerate the worldwide commercial deployment of a technology necessary to meet global temperature limits.

It examines the security challenges faced by IIoT systems, the potential threats, and the state-of-the-art approaches that leverage Blockchain and FL to address these issues.

This article explores how assuming lower economic growth rates—aligned with secular stagnation—broadens feasible climate mitigation pathways consistent with 1.5°C–2°C warming, reducing reliance on unprecedented low-carbon infrastructure buildout. However, lower growth raises concerns about equity and stability, highlighting the need to evaluate novel “post-growth” policies in future scenarios.
