The Amazonian sociobioeconomy encounters substantial challenges in achieving sustainable scaling. This study uses açai and cacao as case studies to explore the risks associated with business-as-usual scaling strategies. We propose innovative approaches for scaling the Amazonian sociobioeconomy that prioritize diversification, local strengthening, territorial strategies, and bottom-up arrangements.
