Domestic violence (DV) impacts the safety and productivity of workers and by extension, the operation, reputation, and success of organizations. This chapter charts the emergence of DV as a global workplace issue and highlights how, tragically, workplace domestic homicides have often been drivers of change. We review evidence of prevalence as well as the impacts of victimization and perpetration on workers and workplaces and present case studies as examples. We conclude with recommendations and promising approaches.
