Supporting Goal 14: Life Below Water and advancing Target 14.a: to increase scientific knowledge, develop research capacity and transfer marine technology, Oceanology International China is the only forum in Asia where industry, academia and government share knowledge and connect with the international marine science and ocean technology communities, helping organisations to improve their strategies for measuring, developing, protecting and operating in the world’s oceans. Developed in conjunction with government and industry associations, Oceanology International China enables academic research, information exchange and international cooperation in the fields of the development and utilization of marine resources, marine ecological environment protection, offshore oil and gas exploration, ocean engineering and marine monitoring. Oceanology International China provides domestic and international suppliers the opportunity to capitalise on China’s rapidly developing offshore energy and marine industries.
