Asylum seekers need to be treated under civil rights laws in the USA

Elsevier, Lancet Regional Health - Americas, Volume 24, August 2023
Authors:
The Lancet Regional Health - Americas

This Editorial supports SDG 10 by explaining how the rights of migrants, including asylum seekers, were transgressed under Title 42, a public health measure in the USA brought in at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. The termination of Title 42 in May 2023 has provided an opportunity for a betterment of how migrants and asylum seekers are treated in the USA.
