This Article supports SDG 3 by describing a cost-effectiveness analysis of point-of-care HCV testing compared with standard of care (laboratory-based testing) in particular settings with people at risk of HCV infection (prisons, needle and syringe programme, drug treatment clinics). It found that all point-of-care testing strategies assessed had a lower cost per treatment initiation than standard of care regardless of setting of HCV antibody prevalence.
This paper explores perceived barriers and enablers for engagement in a new aquaculture activity, using an example of ‘technology-push’ towards seaweed farming in coastal villages in Samoa.

This article supports SDG 3 and 9 by describing a survey of health-care workers in New Zealand on the acceptability of PPE disinfection and reuse to reduce waste and increase availability and sustainability; the survey that this practice was common and had high acceptability, contingent on availability of scientific evidence in support of the disinfection process, and workers' trust in the organisation undertaking the disinfection
Local actions have been considered as an important path for effective climate actions, but the extent to which community-level plastic waste elimination actions can be effective in coastal regions are unclear. This article leverage a nation-wide case study in Australia to show that community-level plastic pollution reduction actions can result in large benefits, regardless whether the plastic pollution was originated from the community or not.

Experience of domestic violence has been suggested as a risk factor for diabetes. Longitudinal data from 5782 Australian women over 20 years were analysed. Childhood sexual abuse and intimate partner violence predicted subsequent diabetes. The association was only partly attenuated when obesity was taken into account. Awareness of a history of abuse may help in the management of obesity and diabetes in women.

This article ties to SDG 3. In this study, time-varying associations of pre-migration and post-migration stressors in refugees' mental health were explored. Understanding these time-varying association could help in designing tailored health promotion services at different resettlement stages and improving the efficiency of resource allocation.
Authors measure nutrient content in coral reef fishes in Seychelles and show that reef fish are important sources of selenium and zinc and contain levels of calcium, iron, and omega-3 fatty acids comparable with other animal-source foods.

An Article in support of SDGs 3, 12, and 15, investigating the adverse effects of deforestation on working conditions and all-cause mortality, highlighting how conservation and restoration projects could help to achieve public health benefits.
