In this chapter we provide an overview and description of the Autism Partnership Method which includes: (a) clinical judgment, (b) learner-centered, (c) teaching meaningful and functional curriculum, (d) using flexible procedures, (e) the importance of working with the entire family, (f) quality staff training, and (g) being compassionate. This chapter also describes the history leading to the development of the Autism Partnership Method.
