Fertility refers to the ability to conceive and produce offspring. It is important as it plays a crucial role in continuing human life, family building, and preserving genetic heritage. Understanding fertility is essential for reproductive health and family planning. Complications causing delayed conception have often caused frustration, and the lack of knowledge of the female reproductive system has been yet another challenge of traditional fertility prediction methods. Thus integrating artificial intelligence (AI) and wearable devices into women’s fertility prediction signifies a groundbreaking approach to reproductive healthcare. These AI-driven solutions use diverse data sources, including real-time data collected using wearable sensors and smart devices, to accurately predict fertility windows. Some FDA-approved applications, such as natural cycles, ava fertility, and smart wearables like the Apple watch and Oura ring, have offered personalized and accurate fertility monitoring. AI models can also detect fertility-affecting diseases, such as polycystic ovary syndrome and endometriosis. Such novel approaches have helped researchers investigate AI’s use to predict women’s fertility, empowering couples with confidence and informed decision-making.
