International Day of Zero Waste 2027 falls on Tuesday, 30 March, the fixed annual date the United Nations uses to focus global attention on the waste crisis. The theme for 2027 has not been announced yet, which is normal: UNEP and UN-Habitat, the two agencies that run the day, usually confirm the theme in the first quarter of the year.
