Renewable Energy Finance (Second Edition), Theory and Practice, 2025, Pages 1-9

This chapter aligns with SDG Goals 7 and 13 by exploring how project finance is a major way in which renewable energy projects are financed.

This review aims to identify optimal strategies for the long-term sustainable development of Bangladesh in the realm of occupational chemical safety and management. The review critically evaluates the current state of Bangladesh's national chemical management and proposes a policy trajectory for consideration.

This study examines the surface mass balance (MB) of Phuche and Khardung glaciers in the cold-arid trans-Himalayan region from 2014 to 2017, highlighting the importance of understanding glacier-atmospheric interactions for future water resource management. The findings reveal that the Khardung glacier experienced significantly greater mass loss (3.7 times more than Phuche) due to climatic changes and topographical factors, underscoring the sensitivity of glacier dynamics to climate drivers in this region.
In this study, the authors estimate the causal effect of air pollution on eye and ear health. They find that eye or ear disease possibility rises 1.48% for a 10 μg/m3 increase in four-week average PM2.5 concentration. The impacts can last about 28 weeks and will be insignificant afterward.

Technological Pathways for Africa' s Net-Zero Economy, Technology Solutions to Unlock Africa's Sustainable Future, 2025, Pages 139-157

This chapter aligns with SDG Goals 7, 11, and 13 by exploring the significance of international partnerships and collaborations in promoting innovation and expanding renewable energy initiatives in Africa. It offers pragmatic suggestions for incorporating renewable energy alternatives into Africa's development agenda.

This Article supports SDG 3 by demonstrating the cost-effectiveness of a multi-center multidisciplinary co-managed care model for hip fracture patients in China.
This Article supports SDG 3 by presenting strong evidence of negative effects of ear disease and/or hearing loss on all measured cognitive domains in a cohort of children enrolled in a randomized placebo-controlled trial of an 11-valent pneumococcal conjugate vaccine conducted between 2000 and 2004 in Bohol, Philippines.

Nanoclay-Based Sustainable Materials: Functional Properties, Characterization, and Multifaceted Applications, Volume , 1 January 2024

In this chapter, interesting research progress on nanoclay-based materials for energy storage and conversion applications is discussed. Some of the notable advantages of using this class of materials for electrochemical applications include its availability, low cost, porous structures, hydrophilic nature, high specific surface, high thermal stability, mechanical stability, and good ionic conductivity. The discussion speculates that the field can be potentially employed in fabricating inexpensive, scalable, application-specific nanoclay-based materials for advanced energy applications.
This research's primary objective is to observe Glacial Lake Outburst Floods in the Karakoram ranges while taking Shishper GLOF events (2019–2022) as a prime example
