Background: Inequalities undermine efforts to end AIDS by 2030. We examined socioeconomic inequalities in the 90–90–90 target among people living with HIV (PLHIV) —men (MLHIV), women (WLHIV) and adolescents (ALHIV). Methods: We analysed the available Population HIV Impact Assessment (PHIA) survey data for each of the 12 sub-Saharan African countries, collected between 2015 and 2018 to estimate the attainment of each step of the 90–90–90 target by wealth quintiles.

This study assesed how participation in an NSA (Nutrition-Sensitive Agriculture) intervention affected mothers' time allocation to child care. The observation of women-child pairs participating in the intervention and control arms of the NL (Nutrition Links) project did not reveal any differentials in the mothers’ time for care. In summary, this study found that participating in an NSA intervention was not associated with mothers' time for child care or any care received by the child. However, the odds of care provided by another person was associated with being part of the NL-I (Nutrition Links Intervention) group.
With the aging global population, the relationship between older people and their residential environments is increasingly important. This relationship is based on the match between the individual characteristics of a person, their needs and expectations, and the characteristics of their environment. By creating access to various health improvement factors and exposure to various risk factors, the conditions under which an individual ages can be modified. This helps to accelerate or decelerate the process of incapacitation that individuals undergo as they age. This can also reduce or reinforce socio-spatial inequalities, which underlie the preponderant role of territory and spatial policies in the prevention and promotion of healthy aging. This chapters supports the process for developing the Decade of Healthy Ageing (2020 – 2030) aligned to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG3).
